"If You Forget me"

Child standing doing "Namaste"
As his life is on stake after a while he said
Let me not be waste
Give breaks so that I can take
If you forget me
I’ll be frog in a lake.

The bad air I breathe
The open food I eat
Where ever I go and sleep
I guess that is not my need
If you forget me
I’ll be strewed seed.

No one is there to heal
You can’t feel what I feel
You may think it’s a dream
But this all is real
If you forget me
I’ll have to steal.

Most of the time I work
I get tired too
Walk all the way without shoes
My child hood has only one rule
If you forget me
I will never go to school.

Nobody sees my happiness
Uncountable is my sadness
I cry most of my nights
My world is god less
If you forget me
I’ll be hopeless.

Now as you know my story
please don't feel sorry
now I know how to live
for me that is my glory
just forget about me
there are many like me
who can't even tell their story.
